In the Czech Republic, Knauf Insulation has invested over CZK 2.5 billion to construct a plant that,
at the same time, became one of the very first projects of the Krupka industrial zone near Teplice.

he foundations were laid on June 10, 2005 and not a year later, in May 2006, the pilot production of insulation materials started.
Full operation started on March 11, 2008. Knauf Insulation plant in Krupka is one of the most sophisticated European plants

Acquisition of Heraklith Group in 2006 expanded Knauf Insulation's portfolio in the Czech Republic by insulation materials made of
stone wool
