NOBASIL MPS

Description

NOBASIL MPS slab is made from basalt fibres. It is hygrophobic throughout its cross section.

USE

NOBASIL MPS slab is intended for thermal, acoustic and fireproof insulation of building structures and industrial facilities, in which the insulation is not under compressive stress, e.g. insulation of pitched roofs, prefabricated walls, ceilings and other structures with no static load. It is not intended for locations subject to jolting or vibrations. It can be used as insulation of joisted floors.

• it has low thermal conductivity – excellent insulation properties
• it is non-combustible – it increases the passive safety of buildings
• it has acoustic properties – it absorbs impact sound energy
• it has a low vapour diffusion resistance factor – air permeable
• it is biologically stable – on correct application it maintains long-lasting insulation properties
• it is resistant to microorganisms and rodents
• it is chemically neutral – it does not react with surrounding materials
• under changing temperatures it is stable in volume and shape
• it is easy to cut to the required size and shape
• it does not absorb water – hygrophobic throughout its cross section
• its surface can be modified by facing with light-weight fabric, or aluminium foil
• during transport, storage and installation it must be protected from the effects of the weather

Slab NOBASIL MPS is suitable for building in interior in terms of hygiene.

• Width: 1000 mm, lenght: 1500, 2000 mm. (Non-standard sizes can be arranged with the manufacturer.)

Packaging:

• The appropriate number of slabs are stacked in the form of a bale, which is shrink-wrapped in PE film. Other packaging methods can be arranged with the manufacturer.
