Basements
Insulation materials used on places which are in direct contact with the soil must have special properties as the insulation is continuously exposed to various negative impacts, such as the pressure of the soil and underground water. Insulation boards of extruded polystyrene are characterized by a closed cell structure, thanks to which they keep their insulation properties even in contact with moistness and groundwater.
Benefits:
- high pressure strength
- resistance against mould
- easy and simple installation
- great insulation properties
- low volume weight
- saving energy costs
- no need to further protect insulation boards
- possible to cover by soil and pressure by heavy machines
