Grillage floor systems
These floors are mounted and installed "dry", without wet process. There are used in case of prefabricated buildings, garrets, attics, mansards and into the additional heat cladding floors. The grillage floor system is suitable for the use in the buildings with minimum loading of ceiling construction, with respect to the very fast realisation times. The NOBASIL MPN products as the soft insulation materials may not be loaded or stressed.
The basic load bearing element of whole construction is the standard beam, usually made from wood. Axial distance among these beams depends on load capacity of the material which is used for the treading layer. It is important to note that in terms of building acoustics and the acoustical properties of system by using a solid rubber mat under these beams you can avoid any occurrence of an acoustic bridge. However, it is necessary to apply a protective conservation coating to each wood part of the floor before installing the thermal insulating material. The NOBASIL MPN product is placed between the bearing beams, with same thickness of the insulation according to the beams high. Insulation must be installed with care so as to ensure close contact, eventually it is possible to use two different thicknesses of insulation. If the hydroinsulating foil is placed on the floor which is situated under the terrain surface, then a plastic wapour barier (foil) should be used, first of all in case of the NOBASIL M application. The treading layer made on the basis of the timber must be fixed to the bearing beams by the traditional nailing, with vertically jointed beams and installed the groove and tongue decking.
